A Very Big Thank You to Inner Wheel

Sincere thanks from all at Home-Start Flintshire to Mrs Daryl Austin, President, and all at the Inner Wheel Club of Mold who, as a result of an afternoon tea held at Cilcain Community Café, raised a marvellous £455.50, which they have generously donated to Home-Start Flintshire.

Sharon and Rena supported the event along with one of our volunteers Sue Sharps, thank you Sue.  Mary Howley and Paul Wright also visited the café to support us, thank you to them as well.

It was a very successful and well supported event and there were lots of lovely cakes to enjoy. Thank you also to all who came along to buy cakes and support the event on the day.

A Parents Guide to Promoting Positive

Pre-school children often behave in ways that adults find challenging. Frequently the best way dealing with difficult behaviour is often by focussing on positive behaviour instead.  You may be supporting a family who could do with some guidance or fresh ideas.

The NDNA produce a great information leaflet “A parent’s guide to promoting positive behaviour” which may help.
